Dr. Duncan grew up an hour away in the small town of Macon, MO. She received her Bachelor’s in Animal Science at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, all the while working in the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant. She then attended veterinary school at The University of Missouri, and joined our team upon graduation in 2022! Her interests in veterinary medicine include animal behavior, nutrition, emergency and critical care, and preventative medicine.
Her other interests outside of veterinary medicine include hiking/camping with her husband and their dogs, Cinch and Cooper, attending concerts, reading any sort of book, and traveling.
Cinch
Howdy! My name is Cinch. My humans tell me that I am a pretty laid back guy for my breed; whatever that means! I think that sometimes they just don’t take my job as serious as I do. It is my duty to watch over them 24/7, 365 to keep them out of trouble! Other than monitoring them, my other favorite duties include cleaning up any food that they drop, alerting everyone about the cattle in the neighbors field, and chasing cats. I think that cats are the COOLEST and for the life of me I cannot sort out why they never want to hang out! All in all, I think that my people are pretty proud of my work, they tell me all the time that I am a good boy!
Cooper
Hi there! My name is Cooper. My humans always say they never know what I am up to, but really I think they just don’t understand the dog way of life. You see, I spend most of my day searching out the most comfortable spot in the house. If I am not doing that, then I am following my hound sense of smell to track down any small critters that have trespassed on my property, or for that matter any neighboring property! I wish that my humans appreciated that I am also looking out for their neighbors; they instead always seem to be calling me back home. I guess at the end of the day I am also happiest at home with my humans!
