Wound Pictures
This is a picture of her wound when we first began to explore and clean
it. You can see large amount of dark colored tissue in the area- this
is dead tissue.
This is a picture of her wound after we did our first wound cleaning.
You can see the large area where the dead skin tissue washed away with
her fur.
This is an inside look at the gauze packing that we used to draw out the dead tissue and infection.
This is what the packing looked like from the outside when it was all finished up.
This is a picture of her wound when we removed her sutures. You can see how we had to suture it closer and closer together. All that remains of her open wound is a small scab in the center.
