Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. This allows us to provide each patient the personal time they deserve and allows us to minimize your waiting time. If you are running late or are unable to make a scheduled appointment please contact our office so that we can make adjustments as needed. We understand that things happen and will do our best to accommodate you.
Emergency cases shall always receive top priority. If it were your pet, you would want the same consideration, so please be patient with us as an emergency may result in a delay. We will do our best to stay on schedule.
Patient Arrival Policy
Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
Boarding Policy
All pets admitted to the hospital for boarding must be current on vaccinations through a veterinarian. Dogs are required to have DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza & Parvovirus), Rabies, and Bordetella. Cats must be current on FvRCP (Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Parainfluenza) and Rabies. If you would like, you can print our boarding consent form and bring the completed form with you to speed up your check in process. Please bring your vaccination records if they have been given elsewhere.
If you are unable to make an allotted appointment time then we can arrange to see your pet through a "day admittance" . This will allow you to leave your pet in our care so that we can examine him or her when our schedule allows. We will then contact you with any treatment recommendations we have and arrange a time for your pet to be discharged.
Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. In the event that your pet will require a major medical procedure or hospitalization, we will require a deposit. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, cash and personal checks.
